This incident shows that the tiger is not staying only inside deep forest areas. It is also moving through forest edges & areas close to villages. These areas are called buffer zones. To strengthen tracking efforts, four experienced trackers were brought from Khanapur. These trackers have strong knowledge of reading pugmarks & understanding signs left by wild animals in forest areas.

At present, two patrol teams are working in the Indalwai range. One patrol team has been assigned to the Kammarapally range. Another team is active in the Sirikonda range. They are checking forest borders, village edges, water sources, & possible movement routes of the tiger.

Regular patrolling helps officials understand the direction in which the tiger is moving. It also helps them estimate its behavior & plan safety measures. Nizamabad District Forest Officer Vikas Meena has confirmed that active surveillance & patrolling are continuing without any break.
